The cost of 1 hectare of land in the Rivne region
Prices for agricultural land in the Rivne region are somewhat lower than the average in Ukraine. For 1 hectare, you will be asked for approximately 22 thousand UAH (815 $). To avoid making a mistake in choosing the plot, it is necessary to take into account the type of soil that will grow best on it and the availability of access roads. Primarily, the cost of 1 hectare of land is influenced by its relief, climatic features, infrastructure development, and the distance from the field to the nearest elevator.

The area of arable land
The area of the region constitutes 3.3% of Ukraine. Various types of soils are located within its territory. Grass-podzol soils, including the most fertile podzolized chernozems, are found in the northwest. They differ from ordinary soils by a more acidic environment in the upper layer. The humus content in them ranges from 1.7% to 4.5%, which provides good yields.
Meadow, meadow-chernozem, and meadow-bog soils are found both in the Polissya and in the forest-steppe parts of the region. In terms of fertility, they are comparable to chernozems, allowing for the cultivation of all agricultural crops, primarily vegetables and forage; and for the establishment of hayfields or pastures in their territories. Turf soil is predominantly found in the south and in the floodplains of rivers in the forest-steppe region. Turf-carbonate soils cover 11.2 thousand hectares and are very valuable for agriculture in forest-steppe areas.
