According to the new regulations, if the owner or their heir does not formalize ownership rights by 2028, it will be considered a waiver of the right to receive the land plot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reasons for extending the term:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The war and occupation of part of Ukraine&#8217;s territories continued.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Departure of part of the population abroad.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Objective difficulties in formalizing ownership rights within the previously established timeframe.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Main provisions of the law:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>1. Extension of the term:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The registration of ownership rights for unclaimed land plots has been extended until 2028.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The distribution of land among owners and their heirs has been postponed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>2. Rental regulation:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lease agreements for land plots formed from undistributed land are terminated two years after the registration of community ownership rights to these plots.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3. Professional requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The mandatory professional development for certified land management engineers is being reinstated.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>4. Other innovations:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Continuation of the pilot project for entering information into the State Land Cadastre until 2026.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Submitting documents that confirm ownership or usage rights into land management documentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Restoration of measures for the exchange of land use rights for agricultural land based on court decisions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Reference:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/zemi.com.ua\/uk\/prodovzhennya-strokiv-oformlennya-zemelnih-paiv-do-2028-roku\/\">Draft law No. 11150<\/a>, on the basis of which this law was created, was adopted in May 2024.
